Who we are

Cadmatic story began in the early 1980s. Since then, we have grown to have over 6,000 customers in 60 countries for our software solutions and our family consists of over 300 people. With Cadmatic software solutions our customers design, construct and operate cool end products, like the world’s biggest cruise ships, luxury mega yachts, process plants for food, beverages and pharmaceuticals, power plants, and buildings from shopping malls to hospitals.

Over the next years we are expecting to increase our total revenue by 30 %. To do this we are looking to recruit much more Cadmaticans to our family.

Are you interested in a career as a Junior Application Specialist?

We all started somewhere, and we like to offer talented students the possibility to learn what customer service and design software administration mean in a professional environment. Often, this opportunity leads to a career – there are possibilities to continue working after the summer, first part-time and then full-time after graduation.

Our Junior Application Specialists’ main responsibility is the creation of 3D component libraries and specifications for our customers, involving parametric modelling, component material determination and taking parameter measurements. In addition, our Junior Application Specialists are the talents that migrate our eLearning content into one platform.

Junior Application Specialists also play a vital role in Cadmatic as the face of the company to our customers. When users are faced with questions or challenges while using our software solutions, Junior Application Specialists are there to help. Our clients are mostly process, system, mechanical, electrical, or MEP engineers designing plants, ships, or buildings.

What we want

So, what are we looking for in our applicants? On a personal level, you should enjoy helping others, working in a team, and consider yourself a problem solver. Knowledge-wise it’s a good thing if you understand what our customers are talking about when they mention pumps, valves, or piping specifications.

An interest in coding is an advantage but it’s not absolutely necessary. A good knowledge of English is, however, needed. You should have studied a related subject such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and maritime engineering for two or three years.

What we offer

At Cadmatic you get involved in solving real problems right away. To get you started we assign you a tutor, but all your fellow Cadmaticans are there to help as well. We’ll teach you how we work, how cool our products are, and the tools and tricks that you need to master your responsibilities. You’ll have the chance to join one of our professional customer success teams. And with any luck you’ll see the results of your endeavours in our customers’ designs. Not a bad start to a career, we think you’ll agree.
